Montreux Capital Management, manager of the Montreaux Care Home Fund and a more recently launched commodity fund, have made a number of senior hires, including a former F&C head of alternative manager selection.

The company has appointed Peter Hill-King as investment adviser to its Care Home Fund – launched in June 2011. Hill-King was formerly head of alternative manager selection at F&C and is currently writing a White Paper on the macroeconomics of income producing property backed assets.

In addition, Clive Rooney, former head of sales for Old Mutual, has been hired as Montreux’s new global head of sales, tasked with expanding the group’s sales force, work he has already begun, having hired regional sales directors in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Paul Bamber, former business development manager for VAM Asia, has been appointed as the group’s regional sales director for Asia. Andrew Stones, former the European sales director at SMI, has been appointed as the group’s European head of sales and Andrew Tennant, former regional sales director for Skandia International, has been appointed as the head of sales for the Middle East and India.
