Neural Pathways, part of the Active Care Group, have collaborated with Pop Up Gym which provides unique gym facilities for individuals with disabilities across the North East. Neural Pathways is one of the country’s leading providers of specialist, neurological rehabilitation. Neural Pathways have supported the Pop Up Gym charity since it acquired its first premises in January 2018.
The charity’s concept was devised by founder Drew Graham who became quadriplegic after a shallow diving accident. He found access to high quality gym equipment for wheelchair users scarce and expensive.
This inspired Neural Pathways Clinical Director, Jill Kings, to set up The Neuro Hub: A unique space consisting of the latest technology, equipment, rehabilitation, and treatment techniques. In summer 2019, Neural Pathways invited the Pop Up Gym to The Neuro Hub, instantly tripling the floor space for their members and meeting much sought after demand for quality equipment for wheel chair users.
Montreux Capital Management CEO, Oliver Harris, said: “This is a great initiative from Neural Pathways which underpins the ethos of the Active Care Group, ensuring the best quality of life for individuals in its care. Well done to Jill, Drew, and the wider team.”
