Westcountry Case Management, which forms part of the Active Care Group’s case management division, has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC are the regulatory body for health and social care in the UK.

Throughout the pandemic the CQC have been unable to routinely inspect service providers on site due to social distancing restrictions. Instead, they been conducting COVID-19 Emergency Support and Framework calls and virtual assessments, covering four key areas which include:

  • Safe Care and Treatment
  • Staffing arrangements
  • Protection from Abuse
  • Assurance Processes, Monitoring and Risk Management.
